Sunrise

It's been a while since I've had time (and good weather) to take a photo of a sunrise.  I was up at 4:55 AM and decided I'd get out early and take some a photo of a sunrise.  Took some other good ones today too...the next photo was taken at the Hawkeye Arboretum.

This is this mornings sunrise. Note the "tiny"; "little"; "minute"; "miniscule"; "microscopic" patch of grass peaking out in the foreground. It's sufficient enough to give me a case of SPRING FEVER - I feel it coming on.

Sunrise 01-01-2010

While I was out and about this morning I drove by George Wyeth Park and saw the female eagle again (closer), and I swear she was posing. I'm still waiting for the male to show up - 2010 is going to be my year of the eagle.
