He first looked left and then right - hopped and then flew away...?  I thought he was looking to see if traffic was coming...

Prancing Bluejay

This Bluejay was prancing across the front yard yesterday.

When I drove into the driveway there was a cardinal and a bluejay - just waiting for their picture to be taken.  Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera at hand, and by the time I retrieved the camera from the backseat the cardinal had moved on.  The bluejay stayed around a bit...
