Read your profile. I was in the Army in 1953 - 1956 during and after the Korean War. I liked the Navy as they seemed to spend a lot of time on deck with a cup of coffee looking out at the sea. Or they did when I was on board their ships. And of course we passengers got none.
I like your photography and the duck may be scratching an itch or preening its feathers. Either way it is a nice picture.

We have squirrels that will do that. They actually jump up on the glass to let us know they are there and want something to eat.
Hi Robert, Thanks for the comment. I would also rather shoot animals with a camera! I do understand why hunting is allowed though and don't have anything against legal hunters! All of your pictures are so good! I really enjoy your blogs!!
After graduating from High School in May 1969 and while attending College I received my draft notice for the U. S. Army. Not caring for the color green I chose to follow in my Uncle’s footsteps and I joined the U. S. Navy in January 1971...30 years later...
