I used to see the "ugly" dandelion. You know - the one that was no longer yellow and was about ready to spread the seeds. But, now looking through the camera lens I see some gorgeous colors.
I had to post 2 photos again. Actually this one was the top photo and I painted it with Corel Paint4 software. (Click on a photo to view a larger image).
I like Dandelions, full stop. They are a much under-rated flower. If they weren't so common, they'd be priceless. The flowers are like gold discs. The seed heads are like nothing else I know. Beautiful.
After graduating from High School in May 1969 and while attending College I received my draft notice for the U. S. Army. Not caring for the color green I chose to follow in my Uncle’s footsteps and I joined the U. S. Navy in January 1971...30 years later...
