Goooooood Morning

I've started a new job (in addition to my other job) at another credit union where I am helping with their website and marketing.  I ordered a new white board - got it set up, left for the day and then found this yesterday morning.  It brightened my day!  Think I'll leave it up a while...

Batman Grooves to MJ

I've got video on my camera - haven't used it much, but thought I'd shoot a few seconds of Daniel grooving to Michael Jackson.

Bouncy...Bouncey

Grandson Sam was having a great time bouncing.  One of his favorite past times is to grab the hair on one of the dogs and bounce... it' s not one the dogs' favorite past time, but they tolerate it well (and keep their distance...).

Photo Seminar

Rays
I went to a Photography Seminar yesterday sponsored by the Linn Area Photo Club.  Canon provided our presenter,  George D. Lepp (a Canon Photographer http://www.georgelepp.com) who kept nearly 300 people mesmerized with his photos, stories,  and techniques.

I picked up a new program, Rays, where you can add Rays to a photograph.  Here I added rays coming out of the Baptismal Font adding a different feel to the photograph.

I also learned some new HDR techniques, some focusing and depth of field tricks and a lot of other ideas I am anxious to try.  Of course if I were to buy every piece of equipment he suggested, near as I can tell, it would be about $20K.  I'll stay on the low, low end.  I will definitely get a time lapse trigger for my camera, and possibly a lightening trigger - both are pretty cool.  So - stay tuned.

Jumper

He was contemplating a jump - changed his mind - but I found myself wondering if he was doing some sort of squirrel math in his head to determine whether or not he'd make it or die trying?

One of MY Work Tools

One of the problems with doing a photo a day, now for almost 2 1/2 years, it is at times it is difficult to see something fresh and new and to be creative.  You'd think that somewhere in a day I'd have a chance to be creative and take a "dazzling" photograph - but, today was not one of those days.

Here is one of my work tools...I use it a lot - so much that sometimes I can't even do 13 x 3 in my head without using an adding machine.., sad...
