January 4th, 2009 brought an icy morning. There was a thin coat of ice covering everything.

...So I stayed in-doors.

My Sister-in-Law Carol gave me a Navy Flag for Christmas. I proudly fly it in front of the house.

Sunrise 2009

I was up at 5:00 am and thought I'd go on a photo shoot. Here is the first sunrise of 2009 over Waterloo, Iowa. And, this begins my journey of a photo a day for 365 days. I really hope I can hang in there...enjoy!!

Here we go...

Starting tomorrow I will endeavor to take and post a photograph once a day...
