25 Cent Electricity

We're visiting with my cousin in Webster City and stopped by a railroad depot and we saw this "pay as you go" electric meter.  As the sign says, "No money - no electricity."

Perhaps a concept which could be brought back...?

Late or Early?

ISO 250 1/60 f4.0
Went to Cattle Congress in Waterloo and watched the remembrance of  MIA/POW.  Part of the observance was the firing of a volley.  One guy was either early or the others were late?

Moon Over Tree

ISO 80, 1/100 f4.5
Ok - I admit I missed a couple of days and am now posting for Monday on Wednesday.  My youngest daughter will say that is cheating.  Not really I've been shooting - not posting.

The moon was barely visible above the tree when I came to work on Monday morning.  Hope you can see it...

The Perfect End to a Day

A perfect day spent with family ends with a perfect rainbow

Renaissance Couple

Helen and I sing in an a'capella group and we sing in period costumes.  Last year we performed in borrowed costumes, but we wanted to have our own so we "went a shopping" and found success.

Tooth Fairy

We went to the Renaissance Festival  while we were visiting in Minneapolis.  Apparently the depressed economic times have hit the tooth fairy as she was seen working a gig at the Renaissance Festival.

Panoramic from the top of the Mills City Museum

We went to the Mills City Museum in Minneapolis, MN - the site of an old General Mills Flour Factory.  I shot severl photos and stitched them together to make this panoramic view.  This was taken from the balcony on the 9th floor - a bit of vertigo - but gorgeous view...

Samuel and A Hot Dog

There's a certain granddaughter right now who's very grateful right because I didn't post a picture of her with a noodle in her mouth.
