This is the park behind the Credit Union - not a lake, although it appears to be one. Last year in June the water was 20 feet deep and we had to evacuate. Everyone is anxious as the water is rising...

I frame several - however, running out of wall space. I also sell one every now and then.
ReplyDeleteThere is a creek that runs through the park and the water comes from all of the snow melt. The city fathers (years ago) built a series of flood gates to control the flooding and as a result the water "pools" in the park as it slowly drains out to the Cedar River. Last year there was so much water that everything backed up.
